Happy 50th Anniversary to Aqualand Marina. We had a very enjoyable and fun interview with Len Jernigan, the GM for Aqualand Marina, the largest inland marina in the world, with over 1,700 "wet slips" and 400 dry dock storage areas, spanning 144 acres in a park-like setting. www.aqualandmarina.com

Len has been in the marina industry most of his life and has managed Marinas on Lake Lanier for over 10 years. He is a Florida transplant, lived in Chicago for a few years and came to Georgia in 1997.

We "hit" Len with many questions about Aqualand starting with the all important question, do your boat ramps have water..Listen in to hear the good news about Aqualand Marina's boat ramp for those that have boats in their dry dock storage area.

You will want to hear how Aqualand has taken a very pro-active approach to the Lake Lanier drought. They are moving forward with some very exciting plans which includes having water for their customers all the way down to the 1035 line, so in essence they will ALWAYS have water for their customers!

Aqualand has many amenities and offerings that you may not be aware of; including the only marina with a self service boat yard....listen in to hear more and why they are the most diverse marina on Lake Lanier!

You need to hear how Len describes the water situation on Lake Lanier, a very interesting twist on the situation.  HINT: It comes from his Floridian background!

Yours truly along with my co-host Chuck (also my better half), spent 5 years at Aqualand on ZD dock and had nothing but good times on our houseboat there. You have to listen in toward the end of the show; we share a bittersweet story with you that will bring a tear to your eyes, but a warm glow in your heart, when you hear what Aqualand did for a dear friend of ours.

**On a personal note, we also renewed our wedding vows on our 10 year anniversary on ZD dock at Aqualand and I surprised Chuck with a 50th birthday party that he will never forget on this dock.

So bring your boat, old or new to Aqualand as they only have 100 slips left to lease....then have the time of your life....
